- I've gotta say that I was in this area of Beijing several years ago (2005) and ran across several of what seemed to be african guys selling drugs. I thought it was pretty strange, and I can't imagine that these people wouldn't stand out in the minds of the chinese authorities.

- This all seems strange to me. Why would a crazy chinese guy pay money to get into the tower, be carrying a knife (which is illegal in china), then kill a millionaire and jump off the tower so that he dies and can't be questioned? It doesn't seem random to me.

- Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think this incident seems a little odd. It seems like a strange set of circumstances in which a disturbed chinese man pays for admission to a historical attraction, carries a knife on him (which as I understand it is illegal in China) and kills a millionaire.

- And a lot of other countries, such as my own (USA) are polluting less simply because our manufacturing is done there. We're all part of the problem, I'm afraid.
